How Much Is Tuition?

$80 weekly for up to 9 hours. Additional hours must be approved and will be charged at a rate of $10 per hour per day needed.

Do I Have to Wait Until Fall to Enroll?

No! My preschool operates year-round, and individualized instruction allows children to start at any time.

What Age Group Do You Accept?

Ages 3-5

What Makes Your Teaching Style So Effective?

I use a homeschooling approach that emphasizes one-on-one instruction and a one-room schoolhouse environment. Lessons are tailored for multiple age groups and learning styles, allowing younger children to socialize with older peers, accelerating both their maturity and academic growth.

By repeatedly hearing lessons taught to advanced students, younger children gain knowledge beyond traditional expectations. This method fosters a natural and enriched learning experience.

How Can I Monitor My Child’s Progress?

Each Friday, your child’s weekly work will be placed in their tote bag for you to review over
the weekend.

When is payment due?

Payment is due the first day of class of each week even if the child is absent, no exceptions.

How are absences and early dismissals handled?

Whether your child is absent due to vacations, illness, or emergencies, full payment is required without exception. Similarly, if your child needs to leave the premises early for any reason, no partial refund will be issued.

How are school closures handled due to Miss Cindy's illnesses or emergencies?

I do not charge if I am closed due to an illness or an emergency—though this is
extremely rare.

Are you closed for federal holidays?

I’m closed for all federal holidays including Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day with pay.

Do you close Christmas & Spring Break weeks?

I adhere to the public school calendar for these week-long closures. However,
payment is not required for these closures, except for Christmas Day & New
Year’s Day.

Do you follow public school closures for non-holidays and breaks?

I adhere exclusively to the public school schedule for federal holidays, Christmas
Break, and Spring Break, and do not account for any of their additional days off.

Are you closed for inclement weather?

If public schools close due to severe weather, my school will also be closed, but
payment is still expected. Given that I waive fees during Spring and Christmas
Break weeks (except Christmas & New Year’s Day), I feel this policy is more than
fair—a policy in line with many other preschool facilities.

Do you provide potty training?

I do not provide potty training due to my busy schedule. However, I assist children who can clearly and verbally request help.

Children who are too young to potty train must wear diapers —not Pull-Ups— as they are more manageable for clean-up. Pull-Ups are only allowed for children actively potty training.

Additionally, children who are not fully potty trained may not wear underwear to maintain a sanitary environment and protect furniture.

Thank you for understanding!

Are you really firm with your policies?

It’s surprising that, even after learning about my extensive experience across
multiple states, some parents will attempt to claim that my policies are unique to this field. Trust me, I know better.

Regarding my school closure policies, I stand by them without hesitation, confident in the superior service I provide.

And while most parents anticipate holiday closures, a few express dissatisfaction. My perspective is simple: many families already have older schoolchildren home for the holidays, and those same parents rarely raise concerns with the school board about holiday schedules. So, why single out my program?

What if my child contracts COVID-19 or other viruses?

Parents must agree that I cannot be held legally or financially responsible for a child contracting COVID-19 or any other virus or illness while in my care.

Given the inherent uncertainty in detecting underlying health conditions of those
entering my home, this waiver is essential.

Will you administer prescription or over-the-counter meds to my child?

For liability reasons, I will not administer prescribed or over-the- counter
medications. This policy is non-negotiable.

How do I end services with you?

Trial Period: There is a two-week trial period during which neither party must provide termination notice. If termination occurs during this period, a prorated refund will be issued.

Two-Week Notice After Trial Period: After the trial period, termination requires a two-week notice submitted via email, text message, or letter. Payment for the entire two-week notice period is
expected, regardless of whether your child attends during that time. The notice period must begin on an upcoming Monday, not midweek.

Failure to Provide Notice: Failure to adhere to the two-week notice requirement will result in legal action, requiring payment for lost wages incurred by closing the daycare to address the matter, as well as any applicable court costs and attorney fees.

What behaviors would result in expulsion?

At any time after the trial period, a child may be expelled immediately—without
any notice or refund—for ongoing issues, including cursing, biting, pinching,
hitting, scratching, aggression, or bullying.

In addition, a single incident of true sexual misconduct or behavior will result in immediate expulsion.

The contract may also be terminated should a parent engage in inappropriate
behavior.

Furthermore, any individual responsible for dropping off or picking up a child who has previously been convicted of a crime against a child will not be permitted on the premises.
